A first-term City Councilor, Caroline Berry was elected to the City’s governing body in November 2022.

Caroline brings extensive city planning experience to the City Council. She received both her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Urban Planning from the University of Washington, and has served the better part of two decades as a planner and project consultant for engineering and planning firms.

 Since moving to Wilsonville in 2010, Caroline served the community as Chair of the Library Board and President of the Library Foundation. She was a member of the Wilsonville Transit Master Plan Task Force in 2017, and is a graduate of Wilsonville’s Civics Academy. Her extensive volunteer experience also includes leadership roles in two parent-teacher organizations and a church board.

Caroline’s family’s roots in politics date back to the 19th Century; her great, great grandfather served two terms on the Seattle City Council in the late 1800s.

An extensive traveler who has lived in China and France, Caroline is a mother of three daughters and has a dog and a cat. In her free time, she enjoys swimming, gardening, cooking, playing mahjong, and reading.
