Aurora Airport

small plane on runway at Aurora Airport

Located just 1.6 miles south of Wilsonville city limits, the Aurora State Airport is a neighbor of great regional significance.

The Aurora Airport is a Category II, Urban General Aviation airport owned and operated by the Oregon Department of Aviation and is the fourth-busiest in Oregon. The airport is within Marion County but extends northward to the boundary of Marion and Clackamas Counties. Wilsonville-Hubbard Highway No. 51 (OR 551) runs along the western edge of the airport.

The City of Wilsonville is developing policies and sharing information on this web page to help ensure that the airport's future is shaped through regional collaboration with key stakeholders, and that the City’s voice is present during the conversations that will shape plans.

Development of Good-Neighbor Policies

The City is eager to learn how our community interacts with the airport, in order to inform the City’s work to prioritize airport outcomes most important to Wilsonville, and to record those priorities as policy directives in the City’s Comprehensive Plan.
