Capital Projects
The Engineering Division oversees the city's Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) which include preliminary studies and physical improvement to public infrastructure. These projects are generally large dollar ($10,000 minimum), nonrecurring, and have a useful life of many years.
Master Plans
Master plans are included as capital projects because they identify the projects to be budgeted in later years. Master Plans create future planning decisions for the city's infrastructure for the short- (1 to 5 years) and long-range (20 to 50 years) time period.
