City Council to Meet on Monday

The next regular meeting of the City Council is taking place as scheduled, on Monday, 7 pm, at City Hall. Social distancing modifications are in place, including reduced seating capacity and a video-conferencing option for Councilors to participate. The 5 pm work session is being moved to Council Chambers.  Public testimony may be emailed to recorder@ci.wilsonville.or.us.

Municipal Court Canceled

As an additional precautionary measure, in-person Municipal Court proceedings have been halted through April 10, canceling Tuesday evening court dates on March 17 and April 7.

The court will be contacting people scheduled to appear to reschedule appearances at a later date.

Court office is staffed; people may contact court offices (503-570-1563) to check the availability of paying a citation by phone or online. Some may qualify for fine reduction and/or payment plan.

SMART Providing Full Slate of Transit Services

South Metro Area Regional Transit (SMART) is continuing to operate without a scheduled reduction in services at this time to support transit-dependent members of the Wilsonville community.

At the end of each day, buses are cleaned and mopped, and interior touch points (hand rails, armrests, driver controls) are disinfected with a hospital-grade disinfectant that is also “fogged” throughout interior.

SMART is following the Oregon Health Authority’s guidelines on social distancing, and recommending that people stay three feet apart when possible. Because this may be challenging in practice, people in “high risk” categories are cautioned to postpone non-critical travel. Passengers who possess flu-like symptoms should avoid riding SMART.
