City Facilities to Remain Closed on Tuesday

City Hall under smoke filled sky

September 14, 2020 – Because of the public health risks associated with exposure to unhealthy air quality conditions, all City facilities are to remain closed on Tuesday Sept. 15, and until air quality levels significantly improve. The Library, City Hall and the Parks & Rec. Admin. Building are closed on Tuesday.

Also canceled:

  • Tonight’s meeting of the Development Review Board (Panel A)
  • Tuesday night’s Municipal Court proceedings
  • Tuesday night’s Urban Forest Management Plan virtual open house; rescheduled for Sept. 22

SMART Transit continues to operate all routes on schedule.

Wednesday’s Planning Commission meeting is now scheduled to be held virtually at 6 pm. Public participation in the meeting is available.

Until air quality improves, it is recommended that people remain indoors when possible.  The airnow.gov website provides information on local air quality, and has information about the impact of diminished air quality on public health when fires are present.

As of Monday evening, the Clackamas County Evacuation Map showed no evacuation threat to Wilsonville. The curfew initiated by Clackamas County remains in effect only in communities under Level 2 and 3 evacuation orders.
