April 8, 2024 – Every two years, the City provides Wilsonville residents with the opportunity to participate in a broad survey to gauge their satisfaction and attitudes about their quality of life in Wilsonville.

The 2024 National Community Survey is now underway. Between now and April 19, an online survey is open to all residents.

In partnership with Polco, the City has conducted the National Community Survey every two years since 2012 to gauge the community’s satisfaction. Survey participants are asked to evaluate the quality of many City services and amenities, and to generally assess their quality of life in Wilsonville.

“The National Community Survey helps us identify where City services are hitting the mark and where improvement may be needed,” City Manager Bryan Cosgrove said. “By examining the data, City Council can staff can respond to the community’s needs quicker and more effectively.”

A survey is first distributed by mail to a random sample of Wilsonville residents to produce a consistent, statistically significant set of data that City staff and elected officials can evaluate to measure satisfaction, observe trends over time, and identify opportunities for progress.

The online opt-in survey now underway is identical, and allows the City to gather feedback from a larger cross-section of community members. After survey results analyzed, summary data is to be delivered by Polco, and presented to the City Council by staff.
