January 5, 2023 — In order to share design concepts and illustrate how the community’s feedback is being incorporated into the Boeckman Road Corridor Improvement Project, the City of Wilsonville is hosting an open house on Wednesday, Jan. 18, from 4:30 to 6:30 pm at Meridian Creek Middle School (6300 SW Hazel St.).

When complete, the Boeckman Road Corridor Improvement Project upgrades Boeckman Rd. to urban standards and provides safer passage for all modes of transportation along the corridor.

At the open house, the project team is sharing a brief overview of the project, which corrects the “Boeckman Dip” and makes several road, intersection, and trail improvements for the community’s benefit. Designers are presenting detailed preliminary designs, including bike facilities, sidewalks, and the new bridge over Boeckman Creek. Participants can meet the project team, ask questions, and review details of the plan.

The open house meeting provides an opportunity for neighbors to learn more about the traffic impacts, detours, and the project timeline. Residents may also sign up to receive project updates throughout the process of design and construction.

Beginning in late summer or early fall, construction is expected to begin. The project requires a complete closure of Boeckman Road for a period of a year or more. By signing up to receive construction updates, neighbors will receive up-to-date construction updates throughout the project’s lifecycle.

Text BOECKMAN now to 866-935-0125 for text updates. Or, you can sign up at ci.wilsonville.or.us/Boeckman to receive the project newsletter or learn more about the project.
