The City of Wilsonville provides medical, dental and vision coverage for employees and dependents, and offers a choice of Blue Cross/Blue Shield or Kaiser policies. Health insurance begins on the first of the month after the date of hire. The City also offers life insurance, long-term disability coverage and a flexible spending program.
The City fully funds contributions to the Oregon Public Employees Retirement Plan. This includes 6% to the IAP (Individual Account Program) and 8.05% to the Oregon Public Service Retirement Plan (OPSRP). In addition, employees have the option to participate in a 457 Deferred Compensation Program provided by ICMA-RC or Nationwide. The program includes an assortment of recognized mutual funds, is purely voluntary and does not include an employer contribution.
