Wilsonville has an expansive and ever growing trail system. Trails meander though parks, connect one area of town to another, and allow residents to experience nature in various greenways, natural areas, and open spaces.
Trails through greenways allow the opportunity to view wildlife while listening to the sound of flowing water and trees rustling in the wind. Existing greenway trails include the Memorial Park to Boones Ferry Park Trail, the trail system in Memorial Park and the Boeckman Creek Crossing. Signage is provided at trail heads, and many trails have level grades and are ADA accessible.
The Boeckman Creek Crossing provides important east/west off street connections. The trail connects the residential neighborhoods near Wilsonville High School to the east, with the Courtside neighborhood and the Town Center shopping area to the west. This paved, well-maintained meandering path leads down into a forested canyon and is highlighted by a 60’ free span bridge across Boeckman Creek. Along the trail are many forested vantage points which offer places for quiet contemplation, nature watching and views across the canyon.
