Welcome to the City of Wilsonville's Volunteer page! Our City has over 400 active volunteers of all ages who contributed approximately 20,000 hours of their time last year.
If you would like to make a big difference in your community but only a little time to spare, volunteering is right for you. We have a variety of activities designed to fit your interests, talents, and busy schedule. Volunteer with family, friends, or co-workers on a weekly, monthly, or yearly, or one-time basis. Work at the Community Center, as a part of our Adopt-a-Road or Trail Program, at the Library, or choose from a variety of other possibilities that fit your personality and schedule.
The City of Wilsonville has many opportunities for you to become involved, and we are happy to create opportunities based on your own skills and goals. Let us show you how to become involved where all the action is!
Volunteer Services is also a function of Community Services, and a volunteer application and handbook can be downloaded from this website. A wide variety of volunteer opportunities are available city wide, including, volunteering at the: Library, or serving on one of our Boards and Commissions. Additionally, environmental clean up opportunities are available year round, including our annual W.E.R.K. Day and Adopt a Road, Park and Stream programs.
Volunteering at the Community Center
There are a variety of different volunteer opportunities available at the Community Center. These volunteer jobs range from being a volunteer instructor for one of our fitness, art or computer classes to delivering hot meals to home bound seniors and many others in between. The Center hosts a nutrition program for seniors four days a week and needs groups and individuals to assist with setting up tables and chairs and serving meals. Our senior programs also include a lunchtime “brain health” lecture series and is always looking for health care professionals and other speakers for that program. Our volunteer profile is available for download or can be completed by stopping by the Community Center Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Please contact Patty Brescia, Senior Programs Manager at 503-570-1525 to find out more about how you can give back to your community.
