Welcome to the City of Wilsonville's Engineering Division. Our mission is to provide excellent engineering services to the public, developers, and to the city team.
Engineering provides planning, design, inspection, and project management for long-range capital improvement projects. These projects develop new and/or enhance existing publicly owned infrastructure such as water, sewer, streets, and parks. Additionally, staff provides plan reviews, permits and construction inspections for privately financed residential, commercial, and industrial developments in order to ensure the maximum service life possible. Permits regulating use and activity within the public right-of-way are also issued through the Engineering Division.
Engineering staff is responsible for maintaining the City infrastructure records such as plats, partitions, easements, and the construction record drawings depicting public street, water, sewer and storm drainage systems. These records are invaluable to the long term infrastructure maintenance and future capital improvement planning process. Staff also maintains the City's aerial photos and a Geographical Information System (GIS) for mapping.
