With an abundance of wildlife at the new Boeckman Road extension at the Coffee Lake Wetlands, it is an ideal location to view birds such as great blue heron, red-winged black bird, osprey, killdeer, and a variety of ducks and other birds. Natural Resources Program staff will be discussing the special features of the Boeckman Road project, namely the incorporation of wildlife passages and the implementation of a 17-acre wetland mitigation project. Bring your binoculars and dress appropriately for weather conditions. Kids welcome.
