The City of Wilsonville released August 8th, 2012 the “
2012 Annual Report for Our Community,” which is being distributed to all residences and businesses in Wilsonville. The 2012 Annual Report reviews key accomplishments in the community over the past year, examines the FY 2012-13 operating budget, and discusses various City programs, and capital projects and private development highlights.
This report marks the first time that the City has produced an annual report-type document, which supports the City Council 2011-12 Goals to “Improve City Communications and Actively Engage with Our Community and the Broader Public.”
City Manager Bryan Cosgrove said, “As part of the City’s efforts to communicate more about local government and provide a greater level of transparency, we are producing an annual report that provides both a review of the prior year’s challenges and accomplishments and a look-forward for the upcoming year. In addition to providing information to the public about what’s happening in the community, we really want to acknowledge and appreciate the important role that volunteers play when serving on City boards and commissions. Hopefully, this kind of publication can help with our recruitment efforts for volunteer service to our community.”
