Community Survey

Every two years, the City of Wilsonville participates in the National Community Survey™ (NCS).

The National Research Center (NRC) in Boulder, Colo., conducts this statistically-valid survey to gauge resident attitudes about Wilsonville amenities, City services and community participation.   Survey data can be compared with results from more than 500 communities across the U.S who participate in the NCS, and local data can be compared to past surveys to gauge how/when resident attitudes change over time.

During the most recent survey, completed in 2022, 89% percent of residents rated the quality of life in Wilsonville as 'excellent' or 'good'.  Other key 2022 findings, with percentage of positive responses (i.e. 'excellent' or 'good'):

  • Wilsonville as a place to live (94%)
  • Your neighborhood as a place to live (89%)
  • Overall feeling of safety (89%)
  • Overall economic health (78%)
  • Place to raise children (88%)
  • Cleanliness (90%)
  • City parks (92%)
  • Library services (93%)

“We’re pleased to see that residents remain satisfied with their city, and with the services that we provide,” Cosgrove said. “We take pride in building a great community with high-quality amenities in partnership with residents who actively participate and who take pride in living here.”
