The City of Wilsonville is in the initial stages of drafting a master plan for the Frog Pond West neighborhood and is seeking community member input through May 27 regarding key elements of the plan that include house design standards, land use types, location of parks, open space, and the street design envisioned for the neighborhood. When complete the master plan, along with a development code, will guide future development in the neighborhood.
To help community members understand and comment on the working ideas currently under consideration for the area the City has posted key information online at www.ci.wilsonville.or.us/FrogPond.
After reviewing the online information the public can submit comments to Planning Director Chris Neamtzu in three ways:• Complete the on-line comment form at www.ci.wilsonville.or.us/FrogPond• Submit a letter or email to City Hall or firstname.lastname@example.org.• Or call 503-570-1574
Public comment will help urban planners narrow the alternatives under consideration and also guide the drafting of a master plan for the area.
The current master planning process follows the broader Frog Pond Concept Plan that City Council adopted in November. Over the upcoming months planners will prepare a draft of the Frog Pond West Master Plan and then present the plan to the Planning Commission and then City Council later this year.
