The City of Wilsonville is hosting in-person discussions with local business leaders at City Hall on March 15th to gather input regarding the business community’s interest and need for improved fiber-to-the-premises (FTTP) infrastructure and other broadband services.
To lead the discussions, the City contracted with CTC Technology and Energy (CTC), a nationally recognized technology-consulting firm in Maryland with over 30 years of experience with public and non-profit entities. On this project CTC is responsible for researching, recommending and drafting the analysis for the City Council’s consideration and potential adoption this summer.
The March 15th meeting seeks to gain a better understanding of local business needs and demand for improved broadband and connectivity services. The discussions will also cover related policy, potential business models, and technology considerations, as well as, customer satisfaction with the existing service providers, future business needs and other related topics.
We’ll be holding sessions in the afternoon on March 15 between 1-5pm, starting sessions at the top of each hour. To RSVP, please email your time preference (i.e. 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, or 4pm) to Jordan Vance at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you have any questions about the meetings, please email Andy Stone (Interim IS Manager) or Jordan Vance (Economic Development Manager)
